CCHS has released a new publication, Strengthening Defense Mission Assurance Against Emerging Threats. The report examines how potential adversaries may use hybrid and asymmetric means to jeopardize or disrupt the execution of defense missions abroad and stability and security at home. The report also seeks to help translate concepts into capabilities by exploring how to protect the nation’s warfighting capability and the civilian critical infrastructure on which our military might and national economic prosperity depend.
This report is a summary of proceedings during a half-day Mission Assurance Policy Forum convened in March 2019, in which senior officials and other leading subject matter experts participated. The forum and report were made possible through the technical expertise and support of our sponsor ICF Incorporated LLC and by Sonecon LLC.
