Auburn University’s Center for Cyber and Homeland Security (CCHS) hosted a discussion on the State of Homeland Security, featuring the Secretary of Homeland Security, The Honorable Kirstjen M. Nielsen. A range of topics were addressed, including the Secretary’s priorities for 2019 and her vision for a safer, more secure homeland in the years to come. After welcoming remarks from Auburn University’s Chief Operating Officer, Lt. Gen. Ronald L. Burgess (U.S. Army, Ret.), the conversation was moderated by CCHS Director Frank J. Cilluffo, who also directs Auburn University’s McCrary Institute for Cyber and Critical Infrastructure Security.
