Securing Space, General James Dickinson, Commander, U.S. Space Command, McCrary Institute Cybersecurity, Critical Infrastructure

As critical U.S. space functions and assets become vulnerable to emerging threats in cyberspace, a strategic focus on solutions for cyber and space security has become necessary.

Gen. James Dickinson, commander of the U.S. Space Command, will discuss his top priorities on the matter and share insight into the intersection of space and cybersecurity on Tuesday, July 27, in a moderated conversation with Frank Cilluffo, director of Auburn University’s McCrary Institute for Cyber and Infrastructure Security.

Dickinson’s many assignments include serving as commanding general of the Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command, and Joint Functional Component Missile Defense Command. His awards include, but are not limited to, two Distinguished Service Medals, three Defense Superior Service Medals, three Legions of Merits and the Bronze Star.
